Welp, we suppose that you have noticed by now that Mr. Henry has been mighty quiet for a while.
And so it is true, good friends, Mr. Henry has seen better days. There has been no formal agreement, or announcement.
There wasn't even a fight or anything to make it glamorous or newsworthy. We all just got involved in things,
like other music projects, jobs, fatherhood and life, and basically, well, fizzled out in a blaze of laughter.
Perhaps you came to a gig and yelled for your favorite song, or bought a cd from us, or sent us some kind and
encouraging words in an email. You might have hired us to play your club or maybe you built a stage in your living room
so we could perform at your your Halloween party. Maybe you walked up to us and talked to us when we were in a strange town.
Maybe you had us back to your place to crash on your floor after a gig. Heck, you might have cooked us breakfast or let us
play a few songs on your television station. Whatever way it was that you reached out, it meant the world to us.
We thank each and every one of you for your support, and your friendship.
Perhaps there will be a re-union show or a farewell tour, or maybe our own line of talcolm powder, but for now, the little
red light on Mr. Henry's Tremo-lux has gone dim. As the curtain closes, and these 40 watts fade out, we bow deeply and raise our glass to you.
As we were dreaming of flying, it was the people that we met along the way, people like you, who made playing so
much fun and all those nights sleeping in a van worthwhile!
Cheers, MF-er's! -- Love, Dave, Neil, Steve, Andy and Tom
